Be a Part of the 3rd Annual Downtown Apex Autumn Adventure

We’re looking for businesses located within the Apex Historic District to participate as must-stop locations in this unique annual downtown scavenger hunt challenge!
To promote the beauty, history, and vibrance of Downtown Apex, Whole Brain Escape, a local escape room destination, and Apex Public School Foundation (APSF) are once again joining forces to bring gamification to Salem Street! From October 7 to 26, groups or individuals who register and donate $20 to the APSF will receive a list of clues they must solve by visiting the storefronts of participating sponsors throughout Downtown Apex. Groups that complete the challenge will be entered to win prizes.
As an important member of the Downtown Apex business community, we are offering you a chance to be a part of this truly unique experience. Due to the nature of the challenge, sponsorships are limited and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. We hope you’ll join us!
Your contribution to the success of this event will support the mission of the APSF to maintain a fund for students enrolled in our Apex area WCPSS schools. Learn more about the foundation at www.helpapexschools.org.
Sponsorship Benefits
Your business will be included as a required destination for participants. Whole Brain Escape will work with you to craft a creative and fun clue for participants to decipher once they’ve arrived at your location.
Your business will be listed in print, web, and social media marketing for the event. This includes posters at participating sponsor locations and promotions shared with all 19 Apex area WCPSS schools, social media posts via the APSF (1,800+ followers) and Whole Brain Escape (1,200+ followers), emails to APSF and Whole Brain Escape subscribers (1,200+), and on the APSF and Whole Brain Escape websites (25k visitors monthly).
What We Ask of You
Donations of gift cards or items to go towards prizes. The APSF is waiving the sponsorship fee this year.
Help us promote the event. We encourage sponsors to offer additional promotions during the month of October to encourage scavenger hunt participants to further engage with your business.
